Jason Augustino, Chief Financial Officer

Jason Augustino is the Chief Financial Officer at Synergy ECP, where he leads the company’s financial strategy, operational planning, compliance, forecasting, and reporting functions across the organization. He also oversees mergers and acquisitions financial integration efforts, helping position the company for continued growth across the defense and intelligence markets. With a focus on building scalable financial infrastructure, Jason is committed to ensuring Synergy ECP maintains the discipline, transparency, and operational rigor required to support mission-critical government customers while capitalizing on emerging opportunities in cyber, enterprise IT, and AI-enabled solutions.

Jason brings more than two decades of leadership experience spanning government contracting, defense, healthcare, and global professional services. Prior to joining Synergy ECP in 2012, he held senior financial leadership roles at Northrop Grumman and PRA International, where he developed deep expertise in DCAA compliance, FAR/CAS regulations, contract financial management, and operational scalability. Earlier in his career, he played professional football with the Chicago Bears and later participated in the NFL’s expansion into Europe, experiences that shaped his leadership philosophy around preparation, accountability, teamwork, and consistent performance under pressure.

Over more than a decade at Synergy ECP, Jason has played a key role in helping the company scale while preserving its people-focused culture and operational excellence. He is known for building high-performing finance teams, developing reliable processes behind the scenes, and creating the financial foundation necessary for sustainable long-term growth.

Jason earned a B.S. Finance from the University of Virginia and later completed his MBA at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
