Eric Beane, Chief Operating Officer

Eric Beane serves as Chief Operating Officer of Synergy ECP, where he operates at the intersection of technology, growth, and delivery. In this role, he focuses on expanding the company’s technical capabilities, advancing operational excellence, and scaling innovative solutions that support evolving government mission needs. By investing in workforce development, strategic partnerships, and technology-driven initiatives, Eric helps create a flywheel of growth that strengthens employee performance, customer outcomes, and corporate impact.

With a career spanning both public service and the GovCon industry, Eric began as an MPO civilian before transitioning into technical contracting roles across organizations of varying sizes. As his career progressed, he led technical bid and proposal solutioning and held P&L leadership roles for technical teams. Prior to joining Synergy ECP, he served as Chief Solutions Officer at Applied Insight, guiding the company through a period of accelerated growth and acquisition. That experience provided deep exposure to strategic growth, M&A, and the application of technology as a value-creation lever in private equity-backed environments.

At Synergy ECP, Eric prioritizes three key areas: empowering people through a culture of trust and innovation, aligning solutions to evolving customer and acquisition needs, and leveraging technology—including commercial cloud architectures and emerging generative and agentic AI to deliver measurable mission impact.

A technologist at heart with a strong interest in human-centered leadership, Eric brings a balanced approach that combines technical depth, business strategy, and a deep understanding of the motivations that drive high-performing teams. He is focused on scaling Synergy ECP with purpose expanding capabilities in cybersecurity, enterprise IT, software and systems engineering, and integrated data solutions to advance national mission outcomes.

Eric holds a B.S. Computer & Information Sciences from the University of Maryland. Additionally, Eric holds a variety of advanced certifications in Cloud and Cybersecurity.
