If you hadn’t noticed, we love to share the great work we do around the community with our industry “competimates”, and just last week Synergy ECP employees hit the track for a great cause! Six of our brave (or perhaps, thrill seeking) employees participated in the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter’s Grand Prix event on October 17, and what a fantastic time they had!
A Day to Remember:
The AFCEA CMD Grand Prix, held at United Karting, was filled with adrenaline, camaraderie, and generous support for a great cause. Our team joined industry colleagues for some high-stakes go-kart racing, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. While we didn’t take home the trophy for top spot, undoubtedly, we won in the trash talking department.
Racing for Scholarships:
Every lap our team completed contributed to raising money for scholarships, spearheaded by AFCEA’s Education Foundation. The AFCEA Central Maryland Education Foundation provides scholarships every year for aspiring engineers, technicians, programmers, and military. Financial assistance is made available for students living or attending school within our local community, focused on the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We hear from our employees that the event was an absolute blast, and we’re proud to have been a part of such a meaningful initiative. At Synergy ECP, we believe in the power of education and are committed to supporting our community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter for organizing such a fantastic event. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Grand Prix and more opportunities to give back while having a blast!
